Built in the 1930’s Riverside was originally a coach shed, it was converted into a bungalow in 1986. It has since been refurbished to a high standard to offer the convenience of modern day living whilst retaining comfort throughout. The property is set well back from the road.
Riverside is situated in the jaws of Borrowdale at the foot of Grange Fell overlooking the River Derwent & Wainwrights most beautiful square mile in Lakeland. Various Tearooms, Hotel Bars and Restaurants are within a 5 minute walk.

The accommodation sleeps up to 4 people & comprises a covered porch, hallway, bathroom, cloak/storage room, two double bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen, separate dining room & lounge with access to patio & garden. There is off road parking for 2 cars (gated secure parking spaces).
Please Note: Riverside is a strictly non-smoking establishment (Bungalow & Grounds) & No Pets
Coal, logs, bed linen & towels are provided free of charge & a complimentary welcome pack is available on arrival. The proprietors live in Derwent House which is situated onsite.

- Lounge: Outstanding views of Grange Fell, Maiden Moor & River Derwent. A lovely spacious room with log burner, room contains sofa & two armchairs. For your comfort we have provided a colour television, video, DVD player with a selection of videos & DVDs. In addition there is also a stereo CD player. A sideboard contains traditional wood games & we have provided writing paper & envelopes in the writing desk. There is access to the patio & garden which contains table & chairs.

All cookware & crockery are provided as well as additional extras such as a food processor, bakeware & all cleaning materials.
